Just to let you all know, I contacted the ‘Street Works’ team at Cornwall Council who stated that it was NEWQUAY TOWN COUNCIL who organised this event which has led to the primary Taxi Rank in Newquay being inaccessible to the trade for THE WHOLE WEEKEND!
Thus far there has been no alternative provision made for taxis that they are aware of (what a surprise).
I believe we have at least 2 x Newquay Town Councillors on the Taxi Rank????!!!
